Smooth Ride, 09-27-2015

South Palm Canyon Dr. leading to the entrance to the Palm Springs Indian Canyons has been resurfaced. This rider believes this section of roadway on into the Indian Canyons is the best section of cycling road in  our valley.

Thursday Morning Commute, 09-17-2015

Cars lined up on Vista Chino this morning on their morning commute. Doesn't look like a good way to spend time. Like every cyclist knows, if they were commuting by cycling it would be the best part of their day.

Kudos for CVAG and RCTC, 09-05-2015

The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and the Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) deserve kudos for creating a cycling friendly piece of important roadway. They have made the Date Palm Dr. section of road that connects Vista Chino to Varner Rd. safe for cyclists. Prior to these recent repairs the north-bound section of this roadway was the worst cycling road in the Coachella Valley.  This section of road is an important link for recreational cyclists who traverse our valley using Varner and Dillon Roads.

Wile E Coyote, R.I.P., 09-03-2015

East-bound Vista Chino at the Whitewater River Crossing.
Riders passing what looks like it may be new sharrows going in on Via Esculea, west of Palm Dr. Yeah Palm Springs!
Nice morning to ride my Da Vall Loop ride, but found a Workman Middle School student ID card on 30th so I stopped by the school and turned it in.  Then I was riding on Da Vall next to the cemetery, I found a wallet with a CA Driver's License, so I turned around and rode back to the Palm Springs DMV and I turned it in.
