Aaron, a cycling commuter and recreational rider getting ready to serve our community as a Crossing Guard at Katherine Finchy Elementary School in Palm Springs.

Matt, a resident of Cathedral City, who uses this Vietnam Era "deuce-n-a-half" military truck to get around. During my time in the Army, 1965-1968 I rode in the back of many similar trucks.

Mecca to Salton Sea, 10-24-2015

Thanks to the Torres Martinez Cahuilla Indians, I got to ride with a a group of Friends of CV Link on the Whitewater Channel levee to the shore of the Salton Sea. Hopefully someday this ride opportunity will be open to all. The vistas in the eastern Coachella Valley are beautiful and are connected directly to the western valley by the Whitewater River Channel.

Just Imagine, 10-14-2015

This is Victoria, who drives her food and beverage cart along the golf cart paths on Tahquitz Creek Country Club serving the golfers. Now imagine her with a solar and lithium battery powered cart driving along CV Link serving the citizens of our valley, with not only food and beverages, but with spare bicycle tubes and patch kits.

Death on the Highway, 10-10-2015

This raccoon lies on the shoulder of south-bound Highway 111, north of Tipton Rd. A dead coyote lies about 30 yards away too bloody and too broken to be photographed.
