Beautiful day, warm ride, some bit of headwind coming out of the south on the way back to Palm Springs.  The Hiway 62 sign says, "High Winds Ahead" but that proved to be an overstatement.

Snow Creek Village, Out-and-Back, 12-20-2011

Mt. San Jacinto Peak:  looks like a wind is blowing up there.  At this point just north of Windy Point on Hiway 111 I had a strong tailwind.  It was pretty much windless until Windy Point.

 Pacific Crest Trail at the Snow Creek Rd. Crossing.  Canada north an Mexico south with climbs in both directioms.

Rode with Gary and Kurt.  Gary had some problems with his rear derailler and we stopped at Joel's Bike Shop in 1,000 Palms.  Kevin took care of it and we were again on our way.  Thanks Joel's.

New Snow, 12-13-2011
