In just a few short months, Brett's cycling has evolved from beach cruiser, to a classic road bike, to state-of-the-bicycle art, a Specialized carbon fiber roadie.

Looking north on Belardo Rd. from south of Mesquite, The new bridge across Tahquitz Creek is at the top of the hill in the distance. For those on bicycles who want easy access to downtown from the south end of town it is a very good route.

Community Volunteer, 09-15-2012
Joan Martin, a member and active volunteer with Tahquitz Creek Yacht Club, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tahquitz-Creek-Yacht-Club/121214234238 , on site for the monthly clean up of the Tahquitz Creek Wash. I also met the Chief of the Poop Police and his trusty Poop Scout Dog who noses out the target poop sites. They both have to remain anonymous as they go about their stealth duties. DNA samples are taken along with photos of the perp poopers. The civil disobedient poopers time for punishment is coming as the evidence of these crimes is gathered....

Bike Parking Taipei Style
Just got back from a week in Taipei. They have the best public transportation system I have yet experienced and bicycles play an important role. The U.S. could learn a lot from the Taiwanese about moving masses of people efficiently. More Taipei bike photos at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yopes/sets/72157631484894992/ .
