Mt. San Jacinto from North Indian, 01-31-2013
Desert Hot Springs Loop: see 02-02-2013 Garmin Route. I forgot to download my Garmin after the ride so it is combined with my ride two days later (today) to Hermit's Bench.
On this ride I got a telephone call while I was on 5th street in DHS. I was very near the western corner of Palm Dr. in front of some apartments that could have been named "Bad Vibe Apartments." While I was stopped talking on the phone, I could hear someone yelling just outside my consciousness. I looked to see who was yelling and it was a shirtless, tatted up, prison-muscled guy looking at me yelling over and over, "Are you a cop?" I immediately quit my call, yelled, "No!" and took off for home. Weird, weird, weird....
