Eric, Marvin and Please Don't Do That, 11-29-2013
Eric of Los Angeles and Palm Springs on his beautiful bike on a morning ride.
Marvin of Palm Springs heading home after a basketball game at Ruth Hardy Park.
"Please don't do that" should have said that before I snapped the photo.... oh well, maybe I shouldn't post his photo either, but recumbents need to be included also?

Off-Roader? 11-25-2013
This abandoned vehicle apparently missed the turn while heading north on Tipton Rd. between Highway 111 & I-10. Of course my guess is that that all happened before it was abandoned? At least it's a great view on a beautiful morning.

Palm Springs Indian Canyons have Re-Opened, 11-19-2013
Araby Wash looking south with the Highway 111 Bridge in view. The access gate (at right in photo) was open to the levee which is paved. I rode to 111 and lifted my bike over the railing to the footbridge and was able to access 111 from there.
The Indian Canyons have re-opened. Photo is facing north toward Split Rock. The stream is out of West Fork Canyon. Note the trees are gone and the landscape is significantly changed since the after fire floods. The streams are flowing down past the road and it is good to be back in the canyons.
Today's ride: 25 miles, Palm Springs Loop + Hermit's Bench, http://connect.garmin.com/activity/406469358 .
