Today's animal sightings within the Indian Canyons: three large healthy looking jack rabbits, a covey of quail including chicks, a desert iguana, a road runner and I believe that I saw the flash of a chuckwalla disappearing into the rocks.

 On today's ride, saw a desert iguana on the road in the Indian Canyons just north of the stone house, saw a large chuckwalla just south of the stone house and saw a long slender snake cross the road just north of the Indian Canyon toll entrance (no photos available).

 Standing pool of water near the 4th tee at Tahquitz Creek Golf Course, left over from Tahquitz Creek flow. I could see tadpoles and I assume it is a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
