Dan (left) left Los Angeles on Friday headed for Boston by July 1st.  Retro Bob (right) out for a kick-ass morning ride.  I had the pleasure of riding from Palm Springs with Dan to the Worsley-Indian intersection and riding back to Palm Springs with Retro Bob.  Bob was riding a beautiful classic Eddy Merckx bicycle. Being that it is the day before Memorial Day, this ride, like all of my rides, is dedicated to those who lost their lives in service to our country.

My ride plan had been to ride out to Snow Creek Village, but by the time I got to Overture Dr. I was grinding in granny gears because of the strong headwind, so I turned around and headed south until the road ended.
