My plan was to check out the newly resurfaced shoulder along Highway 111 north of Palm Springs. I was going to ride out to Snow Creek Village. By the time I got to Overture Dr. the headwind was strong enough that I was grinding out 6 mph and strong side gusts were scaring the heck out of me, so I cut my ride a bit short, checked out Western Village and rode back to the Indian Canyons. The shoulder is now smooth and nice. North bound the shoulder is very wide and south bound it is wide enough to feel safe. 30+ mph with the tailwind back to PS. All in all, another good ride. Met up with Duke and then Brett along the way.
