New Safer, Smoother Road Shoulder, 06-05-2013

New road work on Date Palm Dr north of I-10 has created a wide road shoulder about half way to Varner Rd before it ends with the old bad road. The worst section of road in the valley is now a bit better and the bad stuff is much shorter. The best bet is to cross the road and ride against traffic until Varner Rd. once the north bound shoulder ends.
