Summer time in our dry thirsty desert with temps over 100 degrees and all through our cities gutter water stands in mini-swamps breeding mosquitoes and bicycle slippery algae blooms. Vector control should be out on bicycles finding these sites and drying these swamps up.
Identified as: a Western Shovel-Nosed Snake, Chionatis occiptalis, favorite food "small scorpions," dead on south bound Da Vall about 1/2 mile north of Dinah Shore.
